Click on the link above to see a report by NJ Gates which was published in September 2011 for BMC Geriatrics about cognitive and memory training in adults at risk of dementia. This report is a systematic review.

They found that cognitive exercises can produce moderate- to-large beneficial effects on memory-related outcomes, although concluded that further research and trials were needed.
